Strawberry Rum Trifle Recipe

An Easy recipe for delicious strawberry rum trifle. This is a holiday favorite dessert.


2 cups heavy cream
3 Tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
4 cups pound cake, cubed
4 cups strawberries, sliced
2 cups strawberries, whole or halved
1/2 cup strawberry jam
1/2 cup darkrum


Whip the cream in a large bowl of an electric mixer. When it starts to thicken, add the sugar, vanilla, and 1/4 cup rum. Continue to whip until it forms stiff peaks.

Placecake cubes in a large bowl and drizzle evenly with remaining rum.

Spoon 1/3 of the whipped cream into a 4-quart (4 L) round glass serving bowl; top with half of the cake cubes, half the sliced strawberries, half the jam. repeat these layers and top with whole or halved strawberries.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.
